TCA Sharad Raghavan is currently Economy Editor at ThePrint, leading its economic, financial, and business coverage. Prior to this, he was Special Advisor directly reporting to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her personal office. He provided real-time advice and counsel to the Minister on the economy and financial sectors in response to immediately pressing developments.
Mr. Raghavan’s previous experience of more than a decade as a business journalist covers almost every aspect of what goes into a publication, from copy-editing and page-making at the Financial Chronicle and Open Magazine, writing Editorials for the Financial Express, to data journalism at Mint, and beat reporting for The Hindu.
He is the author of two books: GST Unpacked: Beyond the Jargon and From Cowrie to Crypto: Blockchain and the Future of Money. He has also authored a research paper on Artificial Intelligence in the Post-COVID World.
